Having things spelled out for me (foods, when to eat, why to eat it) took all the guesswork out of nutrition. It was the next best thing to hiring a nutritionist! I especially needed the carb-loading prior and replacing carbs lost during the race. Having specific foods and a schedule made it easy!

I want to let you know that the marathon was a-mazing! Thanks to your amazing training plan I finished in 04:50:11, I'm so proud!! I didn't get any blisters and all the soreness was gone by Tuesday. It's so full of information about physical *and* mental training. One of my favorite aspects of this program is the mental training. I've never seen a marathon training program that offered mental training exercises and that set aside a "mental training" day each week. I am pretty slow and tend to get discouraged easily, so mental preparation is just as important as the physical work for me.

I feel as if I understand the nutrition more now rather than just blindly following instructions. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like! I’ve signed up for another half and I will be following this program again! Thank you so much!
